In Your
Neighborhood
We are now accepting announcements of your outdoor
activities and other community events that fit into our vision and mission. Please allow 72 hours to post.
We'd love to promote what you are doing in your area to foster great health and community fun.
Carlsbad, CA
The City of Carlsbad has an outstanding program for
children of all ages, from babies, toddlers, preschoolers, to school age children. Our son (now nearly 2
years old) loves "step-up to story time" and the puppet show on Fridays at Dove library! Check out this
link to find out more.
Here's the City of Carlsbad's calendar with lots of cool events listed, from library events for children and adults alike,
cultural events, festivals, etc.
Temecula, CA
The City of Temecula has some great programs which you can find on the city's calendar. From creativing art from recyclables to attending theater plays and
the Bluegrass festival there are plenty great things for families to tap into!
The Imagination Workshop at the Children's Museum in Temecula is worth going to, again and
again. Here's their website and event calendar. Check out their photo gallery - it gives you a good sense of how much fun kids have there. The
workshop is a whopping 7500 square feet cluttered with hands-on inventions, gadgets, experiments...and kids
won't even know they're learning as they play! Pennypickle's Workshop (formerly called the Imagination Workshop)
has already won a bunch of prestigious awards, too.
