• Wow! You've got to check out this live feed of a wild mother barn owl that is breeding her eggs. The owl box is located in a private backyard in San Marcos, CA.  Watch the mom owl take care of her eggs in real time. The owlets are expected to hatch any time now, around mid to late March.  What a great thing to watch, for parents and kids alike!  
• Want to give your children the chance to experience a special ranch with horses, sheep, goats, donkeys, rabbits and more?  Located in the heart of Long Beach, CA, the Shoestring City Ranch provides free & low cost rural experiences to city kids while teaching teamwork, respect, and leadership skills in an ecologically friendly green-space working with rescued animals.
